Business Development Manager – Established Drinks Brand – South London – Up to £45,000 plus Travel & Commission

I am excited to once again be partnered with a National Drinks brand that is accelerating at a rapid speed. A key player in festivals and events, this brand has exposure across the On Trade and Off Trade having listed with multiple National groups and Top 4 Grocers!

About the Role

The ideal Business Development Manager will need to be self-sufficient and able to drive new business growth across London. The Business Development Manager will head up the On Trade presence, drive the P&L and manage their territory – along with managing new product launches and activations.

This is a fantastic role for someone who is hungry and ambitious, whilst also confident in working across the On Trade across London.

Responsibilities

Business Development Manager responsibilities include:

  • New business development and existing business maintenance, particularly across Central and Southwest London.
  • Managing contracts, delivery of negotiations and supporting with JBP’s. Converting sales is the primary objective.
  • Executing activity to support UK-wide leased and managed customers.
  • Delivering brand education & training to suppliers, retailers, and consumers.
  • Qualitative selection and development of customers.
  • Identifying effective and beneficial sponsorship and promotional opportunities.
  • Feedback of customer opportunities and competitor threats.

The Ideal Business Development Manager

The candidate will preferably have:

  • A proven track record in sales and business development.
  • A network of contacts within the drinks industry, especially across the on-trade.
  • Fantastic attitude and self-starting ability, a thirst for progression.
  • Extensive experience in winning new business in the ON trade sector.
  • Previous experience of the beer and brewing industry is desirable.
  • Results-focused with good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive, proactive, and resilient.
