MacGregor Black is partnering with an established food and snacking manufacturer on the appointment of a National Account Manager – Waitrose.
You will take ownership of a significant, established relationship. With current volumes placing demands on the business, your first priority will be to protect performance and build confidence across the customer and internal teams. You will also identify credible opportunities to develop the account where capacity and commercial returns support them.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day and strategic Waitrose relationship, building strong connections across buying and relevant customer teams.
- Deliver account plans covering sales, margin, forecasting, service and future opportunities.
- Use performance, shopper and category data to make clear commercial recommendations.
- Work with supply chain, operations, technical and NPD colleagues to manage delivery and launch plans.
- Lead customer reviews, negotiations and issue resolution with a practical, solutions-led approach.

What We’re Looking For:
- Grocery national account experience within food or drink manufacturing.
- Evidence of managing a sizeable, operationally demanding customer.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement, including forecasting and profitability.
- The confidence to challenge constructively while protecting an important relationship.
- An interest in products and regular engagement with the teams making them.
