National Wholesale Manager
Are you currently working within the drinks wholesale market and looking for a role where you can genuinely shape the channel?
Do you enjoy building customer relationships, spotting commercial opportunities and improving the way a channel operates?
If you're reading this and thinking, "That's me," then this could be a really strong next move.
We're working with one of the UK's best drinks businesses, representing a portfolio of well-known and premium international brands, some of which are century year old brands!
This a brilliant National Wholesale Manager opportunity where you'll take ownership of the wholesale channel and help shape what the wholesale strategy looks like moving forward. The business currently works with a broad base of wholesalers across the UK, but the opportunity now is to become much more focused around the right strategic partners, improve profitability and build stronger long-term customer plans.
You'll take over an established customer base including major national and regional wholesalers (LWC, HB Clark, InExpress, Dunnes etc), while also having the opportunity to grow the business further across cash & carry and off-trade wholesale.
This is not a role where you'll simply be asked to maintain what is already there.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
