Our reputation is built on quality, service and long-term customer partnerships. As we continue to grow, we are looking for experienced National Account Managers to help expand our customer base and strengthen relationships with key accounts across their region.
The Role
As a National Account Manager, you will drive business growth by developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and delivering tailored temporary and modular building solutions.
Working with contractors, developers, public sector organisations and major commercial customers, you will:
- Develop and grow a portfolio of national and regional accounts.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive business development.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and generate early project opportunities.
- Work closely with our Design and Operations teams to develop commercially competitive solutions.
- Prepare quotations and proposals that meet customer requirements.
- Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to order, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
- Represent Pickerings Hire professionally, promoting our reputation for quality, reliability and service excellence.

About You
We're looking for a motivated, commercially focused sales professional with experience in the temporary or modular buildings sector.
You Will Have
- A proven track record in business development and account management.
- Experience selling temporary or modular building solutions.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert new opportunities.
- Experience preparing quotations and working with technical or design teams to develop customer solutions.
- An established network within construction, infrastructure, education or related sectors.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within your region.
