THE ROLE:

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities across the UK, promoting a unique rail-based same-day delivery solution for time-critical parcels, healthcare products and specialist freight. This is a 100% new business role, targeting courier companies, laboratories, research facilities and organisations with urgent delivery requirements. You'll manage the full sales cycle and play a key role in driving ambitious growth plans.

LOCATION:

National role. Applications welcome from candidates based anywhere within England with good motorway links.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience within time-sensitive logistics, same-day delivery, courier, freight or wider transport solutions would be highly desirable
  • We will also consider candidates from outside logistics who can demonstrate success selling into regulated, legislative or compliance-led industries
  • Background in service-led, time-critical or more complex solution sales environments preferred
  • Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders and managing longer or consultative sales cycles would be advantageous
  • Commercially credible with the ability to quickly understand customer operational challenges and develop tailored solutions
