About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused National Commercial Manager – LTC to lead strategic growth within Long Term Care across the UK. This is a high-impact national role, responsible for driving profitable sales, strengthening customer relationships and leading commercial and clinical teams to deliver sustainable market share growth across Arjo’s product portfolio.
Reporting to the UK Commercial Director, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the national commercial strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders, care organisations, NHS and private healthcare partners, and internal teams across Sales, Rentals, Service, AC-MOP and Commercial Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire commercial and clinical teams to achieve and exceed national sales, gross profit and business growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite stakeholders, ICB and ICS leads, large care organisations and key national accounts.
- Develop and deliver annual national business plans, ensuring alignment with UK and global strategy.
- Identify new business opportunities while retaining and growing existing customer relationships across the Long Term Care market.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver innovative, value-led Arjo solutions that differentiate us from competitors.
- Share competitor and market intelligence to identify opportunities, mitigate risk and inform strategic decision-making.
- Support tender submissions and allocate appropriate resource to help secure new business.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members, building commercial acumen, negotiation skills and use of CRM tools.
- Produce accurate forecasts, manage budgets and provide timely reports on progress against business plans.
- Ensure all activity is delivered in line with Arjo’s guiding principles, code of conduct, policies, quality requirements and health and safety standards.

About You
We are looking for a confident, strategic and results-driven sales leader with a strong track record of success in a customer-facing commercial management role. You will be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, leading teams through change and using market insight to develop innovative sales strategies.
You will bring:
- Proven experience leading successful sales teams and delivering commercial growth.
- Strong understanding of the UK healthcare market, including NHS, private hospitals, care home groups and long-term care providers.
- Experience of tendering for large contracts through OJEU and relevant frameworks.
- Excellent commercial and business acumen, with the ability to assess customer needs and develop value-led solutions.
- Strong coaching, mentoring and change management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to manage complex conversations professionally.
- A motivated, resilient and solutions-focused approach, with strong planning and organisational skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, forecasting tools and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Essential Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Ability to travel across the UK and abroad, including overnight stays when required.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check, funded by Arjo.
