Nissan is a challenger brand with a strong reputation for innovation. It is the responsibility of our product marketing and communications teams to ensure that the Nissan brand and product portfolio are successfully communicated and maintain a strong presence in the UK marketplace. Nissan continues to optimise product development and deliver highly innovative technology creating truly state-of-the-art vehicles. The team works closely with world renowned advertising, experiential and PR agencies to support the delivery of exciting initiatives such as its recent Nissan - Loved By Britain campaign.

Overall Purpose of Role

The mission of the role is to oversee all national paid campaign content across both brand and model activations. Working with internal and external stakeholders to manage the planning, development and execution of all campaign content. This role will also manage and oversee our NissanUK organic social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Reddit. The role is responsible for the content planning and execution across social channels including strategy, reporting and performance analysis. In addition, the role will manage the process of queries, complaints and escalations raised on social media with our community management agency.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Content

  • Planning and creative execution and delivery of all brand and national campaign content in line with media and organic plans.
  • Evolving and executing all creative content in line with brand direction & guidelines – ensuring strong creative, and clear messaging.
  • Work closely with the Media team and agency to manage monthly/quarterly asset supply – previewing and approving permalinks, formats and copy prior to deployment.
  • Manage, approve and deliver all media partnership content including award content packages, content format innovations, and promotional activity.
  • Own and govern Nissan UK's brand and model messaging framework, including model naming conventions.
  • Management of content asset library to store all national, experiential, social and partnership content.
  • Ensuring all content is accurate, legally compliant and delivered within specified deadlines.

Social Media

  • Lead Nissan UK's social media strategy, content planning, channel growth and performance optimisation.
  • Manage Nissan UK's organic social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube & Reddit) including content approval, publishing, reporting and performance analysis, ensuring compliance with brand and legal requirements.
  • Planning and executing owner advocacy and user-generated content initiative.
  • Manage and deliver influencer/content creator activities.
  • Monitor and oversee all community management, ensuring timely escalation of customer issues, complaints, reputation risks and potential crises, as well as tracking inbounds and sentiment.

Brand

  • Act as Nissan UK's brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all communications and activations.
  • Managing the roll out of Nissan brand guidelines across the business and training of new starters.
  • Agency and stakeholder management, including liaising with other entities as appropriate.
