Location: Northside House, Bromley with occasional national travel
Hours: Part Time (30 hours per week) with core days between Tuesday and Thursday
Rate of Pay: £36 per hour

PCWA CIC is a primary care workforce and education organisation dedicated to making primary care the best place to work and learn. We design and deliver high-quality education and workforce programmes across GP practices, PCNs, Training Hubs, ICSs, universities and national NHS partners.
Our national General Practice Assistant (GPA) Programme is delivered across all seven NHS England regions and has recently been recognised with a Princess Royal Training Award.

About The Role
The National GPA Educator provides educational leadership for the GPA Programme across England. The role supports Regional Educators and learners, ensuring a consistent, high-quality learning experience nationally. The post holder will contribute to curriculum delivery, quality assurance, programme improvement and stakeholder engagement.

The National GPA Educator will work alongside the Programme Manager and support the Programme Director with the delivery and development of the GPA Programme across England. The role will focus on supporting Regional Educators and learners, building confidence and helping to maintain a consistent, high-quality approach to education. The post holder will work closely with Regional Educators, sharing good practice, providing educational advice and helping to address challenges as they arise. They will also provide support to learners and clinical supervisors through workshops, webinars and guidance, including where additional educational or pastoral support is needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and supporting a national network of GPA educators
- Driving educational excellence, quality assurance and programme consistency
- Coaching and mentoring educators to support learner success
- Designing and delivering engaging workshops, webinars and national learning events
- Supporting curriculum development and educational innovation
- Building relationships with GP Practices, Clinical Supervisors, PCNs, ICB workforce leads, NHS England and education providers
- Contributing to programme growth, improvement and national impact
What We’re Looking For
- A degree-level qualification in healthcare or equivalent experience
- Experience delivering education, training or workforce development programmes
- Strong knowledge of Primary Care, General Practice and the NHS landscape
- Outstanding communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience supporting learners and developing educational resources
