I am working with a leading UK accountancy and advisory group that is looking to appoint a National Head of Transfer Pricing to lead, develop and grow its Transfer Pricing offering across the UK.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Transfer Pricing Associate Director, Director, Partner or existing Head of Transfer Pricing to take ownership of a national service line, with significant autonomy to shape the strategy, develop the client offering and build a team around them. The firm has grown considerably in recent years and already has an established national network of Tax Partners, a broad client base and a strong platform from which to develop its Transfer Pricing offering further.
Importantly, the role is not tied to one specific office. The firm has locations across the UK and can be flexible around where the successful individual is based, alongside offering a hybrid working arrangement.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead and develop the firm’s national Transfer Pricing offering.
- Shape and deliver the Transfer Pricing strategy across the UK.
- Identify opportunities across the existing client base while developing new relationships in the market.
- Work closely with Tax Partners and wider advisory teams across multiple UK offices.
- Advise clients on complex UK and international Transfer Pricing matters.
- Build and develop a specialist Transfer Pricing team as the service line grows.
- Lead business development activity and raise the profile of the offering in the market.
- Collaborate with Corporate Tax, International Tax, M&A and wider advisory specialists.
- Have genuine influence over the future direction and investment in the service line.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
