As a global oncology company focused on uniting against cancer, BeOne Medicines brings together passionate professionals dedicated to making a difference for patients worldwide.

This opportunity is part of BeOne’s Contingent Workforce Program in partnership with Magnit Global. As a temporary contractor supporting BeOne Medicines, you will be employed by our contingent talent partner, Magnit Global, who manages BeOne’s contingent and temporary workforce.

General Description

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a very fast-growing innovative oncology company and make a meaningful and lasting impact on cancer patients. Reporting to the Associate Director Market Access, the National Healthcare Partnership Manager plays an important role in driving the planning and implementation of BeOne Medicines’ products into care pathways within the changing NHS, ensuring access for patients. The role will work across BeOne Medicines’ portfolio, so in both solid tumours and haematology.

This is a role with a high level of impact, visibility, and a unique chance to influence how BeOne Medicines’ products are positioned and perceived in the UK.

For this role, the candidate will bring prior experience of engaging with various NHS stakeholders at a national, regional and local level, have field market access experience, and the right entrepreneurial mindset to get to the heart of the NHS changing environment. The role will also require strong cross-functional collaboration and prior experience of working in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment with the ability to navigate in a matrix organisation.

Essential Functions Of The Job

  • Develop and execute regional market access plans aligned with national brand strategies.
  • Identify and deliver on opportunities to improve patient access and optimise pathways/service delivery.
  • Utilise health-economic tools and insights to demonstrate value, resource impact and to support local decision-making.
  • Work cross-functionally across medical, commercial, market access to develop and implement integrated account plans to drive implementation for BeOne Medicines products within NHS pathways in the changing NHS payer and policy landscape.
  • Work closely to support the in-field teams to identify local and national opportunities for current licensed products.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key NHS stakeholders to influence care pathways and drive product adoption.
  • Lead and support NHS organisation partnership projects (e.g., collaborative or joint working projects).
  • Understand how national NHS/Cancer policies and priorities are being implemented and how they can be leveraged to drive BeOne Medicines’ business objectives.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience for NHS professionals, ensuring clarity and engagement around product value propositions.
  • Gather insights and provide feedback to the brand team, contributing to continuous improvement in engagement strategies.

Education/Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced qualification (e.g., MA, MBA, PhD) an advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a field-based oncology/haemato-oncology role.
  • Sound knowledge of the NHS environment, organisations, systems, commissioning, practices and management structures.
  • Good understanding of market access tools and clinical and economic arguments that will resonate with target payer stakeholders and impact on the system.
  • Skilled in influencing and negotiating with cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including ability to synthesise data and deliver a clear overview of opportunities and risks.
  • Demonstrated strength in the core competencies of communication, strategic agility, achieving results, and teamwork/collaboration.

  • Advanced qualification (e.g., MA, MBA, PhD).
  • Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the ability to navigate in a matrix organisation.
