Purpose of the Role

Participate in defining the sales strategy and implement it to recruit future students for GUS France. Concurrently prospect for companies and sustain the relationships created as part of the recruitment of work-study students.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Recruitment

  • Prospect/candidate targets
    • Design, plan, and manage promotional operations in France and internationally to optimise recruitment, and analyse the impact of the actions implemented
    • Implement and carry out all commercial actions fostering the recruitment and retention of future French and international students for GUS France
    • Manage and maintain relationships with French and international prospects/candidates: meet, inform, persuade, and reassure future students; ensure follow-up
    • Take part in managing internal and external events: represent GUS France, welcome and support French and international prospects/candidates; lead activities within the school; monitor admission exams
    • Ensure the successful integration of fee-paying international students
    • Monitor sales indicators and conduct competitive intelligence

Corporate targets

  • Develop partnerships (framework agreements and collaboration agreements) with companies and build loyalty
  • Develop more innovative concepts and services to meet corporate needs
  • Actively participate in Apprenticeship Tax and Patronage campaigns
  • As part of the placement of our work-study students: prospect, monitor, and retain companies
  • Support companies in defining their needs (job descriptions, profile definition, connecting with future students, etc.)
  • Participate in school & Key Account recruitment events
  • Guarantee a satisfactory experience to retain companies
  • Gather corporate needs for the new campaign and propose candidates
  • Manage any conflicts

  • Update tracking databases and CRM
  • Provide regular reporting on their activity

Team leadership

  • Lead a team of students participating in the promotion of EST programmes (at forums, fairs, Open Days) and internal events

Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+3) – Marketing / Communication / Sales / Tourism or Hospitality School
  • Similar experience preferred
  • An affinity for the tourism sector
  • Knowledge of corporate work-study legislation
  • Analytical and reporting skills
  • Argumentation / negotiation / sales action techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
  • Working knowledge of English would be a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
