Are you a driven, committed and ambitious Sales professional with a strong customer-first approach? Then join us at VELUX Commercial as National Key Account Manager. Please note that this is a UK-wide role, and whilst location can be flexible, candidates should be located centrally with good access to major road networks.

VELUX Commercial, a division of the VELUX Group established in 2019 through the integration of JET, Vitral, and VELUX Modular Skylights, employs more than 1,100 people across 13 countries. The business supports building professionals throughout the entire lifecycle of daylight and ventilation solutions for industrial, commercial, and public buildings, from specification and delivery to ongoing maintenance. As a fast-growing organisation with an entrepreneurial culture, informal environment, and a quick path from idea to execution, VELUX Commercial offers excellent opportunities to make a meaningful impact while developing both personally and professionally.

Your challenges

In this role, you will join our VELUX Commercial National Sales team in UK&I, dedicated to putting the needs of our customers first. Our team is characterised by a growth mindset, informal tone, and open-door culture, where we both offer and accept help and feedback while making sure we have fun together. As National Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the identification and management of influencers, endorsers, promotors, key decision makers and specifications with existing main contractors, as well as the business development of new Tier 1 contractors nationally.

What You Will be Doing:

  • Future-proof VELUX Commercial by securing project specifications and sales opportunities through strong commercial relationships and effective project tracking across sectors including education, healthcare, MOD, sports & leisure, and retail.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the project supply chain, including architects/specifiers, Tier 1 and regional contractors, quantity surveyors, cost consultants, subcontractors, and industry bodies.
  • Use effective influencing and closing techniques to secure specifications and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Raise awareness of the full VELUX Commercial product portfolio through company presentations and CPDs.
  • Maintain CRM records and customer data, with a strong focus on pipeline development, opportunity tracking, and improving win rates.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys where required, including working at heights.
  • Strengthen the position of VELUX Commercial within the commercial market, establishing our products as a preferred choice in both market share and market perception.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver company objectives, targets, and strategic goals.
  • Monitor market potential and share sales leads and opportunities with relevant colleagues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
