Are you an experienced National Key Account Manager with a strong background in packaging and a passion for developing strategic customer relationships?

We're looking for a commercially driven National Key Account Manager to join our Sales team. In this high-profile role, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of major national accounts, partnering with some of the UK's most recognised FMCG and manufacturing businesses to deliver sustainable growth, maximise profitability, and create long-term value.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth, improving margins, identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, and strengthening customer partnerships across the business.

About the Role

As National Key Account Manager, you will:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national customers, including leading FMCG brands and major manufacturers.
  • Build and expand customer contact networks across multiple functions and seniority levels.
  • Create and deliver strategic account plans focused on revenue growth and margin improvement.
  • Identify and secure additional business opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Lead commercial negotiations including pricing reviews, contracts, tenders and service agreements.
  • Use a value-selling approach to drive profitable growth and maximise return on investment.
  • Analyse customer performance, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring clear action plans, accountability and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Design and Technical teams to deliver outstanding customer solutions.
  • Support forecasting and planning activities through customer insights and demand forecasting.
  • Manage commercial risks, escalations and issue resolution in a timely and professional manner.
  • Champion customer needs internally and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
