Role Description

The National Key Account Manager will be working within our Specification Sales Team – Social Housing / Specification, this role is crucial for building the sales momentum within the retrofit sales channels of Gas Boilers, Heat Pumps and associated products. To develop and maintain a reciprocal relationship between customers (Local Authority, Housing Associations, Tier 1 Contractors, PAS 2035 consultants & contractors and facilities management companies) and Ideal achieving sales and profit growth targets through the proactive establishment and development of customer accounts.

  • Visiting the above customer base offering sales support to help secure specifications for Ideal Heating’s product portfolio
  • Build a robust pipeline to include the Warm Homes Scheme & Combined Authorities across all Groupe Atlantic Products
  • Manage assigned accounts on a daily basis and maintain regular contact
  • Customer relationship management
  • Execution of marketing and sales strategies using specific and focused promotional campaigns and incentives
  • Achievement of business sales / profit targets
  • Prepare and implement Business / Account plans
  • Proactive establishment of customers
  • Segmentation and selection of key customer accounts by attractiveness
  • Development of sales "Pull" by means of gaining specification
  • Contract tracking and information management
  • Ownership of Account relationship development
  • To sell product and service packages
  • Time / Workload management
  • To gather information / market intelligence and feedback to business
