Turner Property Recruitment is working with Trident Building Consultancy to appoint an MEP Consulting Lead. This is an opportunity for an experienced, hands-on engineer to build a national MEP advisory service, shape its direction and work with an established client base of investors, developers, and occupiers.
Trident is an employee-owned, B Corp certified building consultancy with a strong commitment to sustainability and collaboration. The new MEP service will help clients improve the performance of their buildings, from initial assessment and feasibility through to design, delivery, and handover.

The Role
You will develop Trident’s MEP offering while remaining close to clients and technical delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing MEP advice for condition surveys, technical due diligence, asset reviews, and portfolio assessments.
- Developing MEP and decarbonisation strategies, feasibility studies, and practical solutions for existing buildings and new projects.
- Overseeing MEP design, project delivery, commissioning, and handover.
- Identifying opportunities across Trident’s existing client relationships and winning new work.
- Establishing the service’s processes, tools, and market proposition.
- Building and leading a collaborative team as the service grows.

About You
You will bring substantial MEP consulting experience and a background in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering. You will be comfortable working across the project lifecycle, from early advice and feasibility to design and delivery.
Trident is particularly interested in someone who combines technical credibility with strong client relationships.
