England Netball National Lead – Performance Support
England Netball has the ambition to become the world's leading netball nation. Achieving this requires world-leading performance support that enables athletes to remain healthy, available and capable of consistently performing at the highest level.
The Role
The National Lead – Performance Support will provide strategic leadership for Sports Science and Sports Medicine across the England Roses, Roses Pathway and the wider English netball high performance system.
Whilst retaining oversight of performance support delivery to the Roses and Roses Pathway programmes, this is a strategic leadership role. The successful candidate will shape the future direction of performance support across English netball, raising standards throughout the Netball Super League, the Player Pathway and national teams.

This role will influence how performance support is delivered across the whole netball system, ensuring that sports science, sports medicine and athlete wellbeing services are designed around the unique physiological, psychological and developmental needs of women and girls. Building capability, alignment and innovation that gives England a sustainable competitive advantage on the international stage.
Details
This is a new role that will be directly employed by England netball, working in close Partnership with Loughborough University who provide Performance Support services to the Roses and the Roses Pathway. The relationship with Loughborough University will be key, with England Netball and the post-holder providing strategic direction and day-to-day leadership, whilst Loughborough University provide employment and support to practitioners.

Hours
- 0.8 - 1 FTE will be considered, based on a 35-hour week
Salary
- circa £65,000 - £70,000 (full-time equivalent) dependent on experience
Location
- The role will be based at Loughborough University, Leicestershire, England. Training camps, competition series and tournaments are held both at Loughborough and elsewhere across England and overseas. Travel across the UK and occasionally internationally will be required
