National Market Access Key Account Manager
Innovative Advanced Therapy Launch | UK National Role 12 months
Are you an experienced Market Access professional looking to play a pivotal role in the launch of a truly innovative therapy?
Our client is a specialist pharmaceutical organisation at the forefront of advanced therapies and is preparing for the UK launch of a ground-breaking stem cell treatment. This is a rare opportunity to join a lean, agile team and take ownership of market access strategy across some of the UK's most influential centres.
The Opportunity
As National Market Access Key Account Manager, you will lead market access activity across approximately 10-11 key specialist treatment centres, driving successful adoption of a first-in-class stem cell therapy.
Working cross-functionally with Medical, Commercial and External Affairs teams, you will:
- Develop and execute account plans
- Navigate complex funding pathways
- Ensure the successful completion of local and regional tendering processes

This is a highly strategic role where your ability to influence senior stakeholders, shape access pathways and secure funding will directly impact patient access to a transformational new treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead national and regional market access activity for a newly launched advanced therapy product.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans across designated specialist centres.
- Identify, influence and engage key decision-makers involved in funding and treatment pathway development.
- Manage and support tender submissions and procurement processes.
- Work closely with NHS stakeholders to navigate complex commissioning and reimbursement environments.
- Drive inclusion within local treatment pathways and facilitate uptake across priority centres.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and commercial colleagues to deliver coordinated customer engagement plans.
- Gather market intelligence and provide insights to support ongoing access strategy.

About You
We're keen to speak with ambitious Market Access professionals who can demonstrate:
- A proven track record within NHS market access, tendering or key account management roles.
- Strong understanding of NHS funding, commissioning and procurement processes.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders across Trusts, specialist centres, procurement teams and clinical networks.
- Strategic account planning and cross-functional working capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A highly motivated and self-driven approach with the ability to operate effectively within a specialist national role.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within rare diseases, oncology, cell and gene therapy, specialist medicines or other high-cost therapies.
- Previous involvement in product launches.
- Knowledge of advanced therapies and complex reimbursement pathways.
