Part-time - 28 hours per week

Job Summary
You will assist in the building and returning of life-saving medicine packs; ensuring all packs are safe, legal, and properly kitted. You will also process medicine pack returns, checking for compliance and returning of medicines in a safe and legal manner. You will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the medicine store, ensuring that operational duties and administration is undertaken in an efficient, correct, and timely manner following national processes.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Educated to GCSE level (Grade C) or equivalent including Maths & English
- UK driving licence
- Experience of working within a small team environment undertaking administration and using basic level IT applications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to prioritise with good attention to detail
About the Role
- Follow national policies and procedures in relation to medicine supply and management for SJA
- Working within the National Medicine Supply Service stores on a daily basis
- Assist in the building, processing of returns and quality assurance checks of medicine packs for first aid services, ambulance operations and community projects
- Assist the National Medicine Supply Service team in ensuring that the medicines store is appropriately stocked and clean; ensuring that all necessary records are kept verifying this
- Support employees and volunteers nationally to facilitate service delivery and safe working practice
