National Procurement Manager (Manufacturing)
£50,000 - £60,000 + Remote + Progression + Car Allowance + Company Benefits

Do you have a background in a senior role within Procurement or Supply Chain Management? Are you looking for an autonomous management position within a nationwide healthcare group, who give you the opportunity to make a difference in the community by delivering an essential service, offer you the ability to progress into Directorship as well as flexibility, remote working and paid travel both domestically and abroad?
On offer is the opportunity to join an essential healthcare manufacturer who cover the whole of the UK, they specialise in the supply of patient handling and mobility products for the NHS, care homes and private domestic clients. They are now offering a brand new position within the procurement function to assist the Group Director in delivering projects across the UK, Asia and the USA.
This varied and autonomous role will see you responsible for leading cross-functional procurement projects, build project planning, manage stakeholders, support supplier performance, champion ESG within decision-making, handle reporting and covering Directorship responsibilities when required. This is a remote position with travel to 6 sites across the UK as well as some travel abroad on an adhoc basis.

This role would suit a senior candidate with a background in Procurement or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment looking for a senior management position, with a nationwide company who provide an essential service, giving you opportunities to progress, lead a function and full autonomy to make the role your own.
The Role:
- Managing divisional stakeholders and working with senior management
- Lead and deliver cross-functional projects, including planning, reporting and transition into automated workstreams.
- Coach and train divisional procurement staff on best practice
- Supplier management and analysis
- Covering 6 sites around the UK with some occasional international travel
- Monday - Friday (37.5 hour week), remote position.

- Background in senior procurement or supply chain position

- Background using manual procurement tools and processes
- Background in Manufacturing or similar
