We're looking for a passionate and commercially driven National Safety Specialist to join our Milwaukee team, reporting directly to the National Safety Specialist Manager. This exciting role will focus exclusively on our innovative and rapidly growing Milwaukee PPE range.

Within this role, you will work with senior Health & Safety professionals, Procurement teams, and key decision makers across major national accounts. You'll help shape safer workplaces through technical expertise, strategic partnerships, and consultative solution selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of high-opportunity national end users, building strategic relationships with Health & Safety Managers, Procurement and other key decision makers.
  • Partner with the JSS sales team to identify, develop and convert safety opportunities within existing and prospective national accounts.
  • Support field sales activities through joint customer visits, site assessments, product demonstrations and technical consultations.
  • Influence end-user specifications by promoting Milwaukee safety solutions and demonstrating the technical and commercial advantages over competitor products.
  • Deliver product training and safety education to end users, distributors and internal sales teams to drive product adoption and best practice.
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert users to Milwaukee safety solutions through a consultative sales approach.
  • Provide technical support and recommend appropriate PPE solutions based on customer applications, risk assessments and workplace hazards.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of legislation, PPE standards, industry trends and the Milwaukee safety portfolio.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Marketing to communicate market trends, customer requirements, competitor activity and product opportunities.
  • Represent Milwaukee at trade shows, customer events and industry exhibitions.
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned from time to time by the Line Manager.

Skills/Experience

  • A minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience working within the PPE and Safety market within a sales/Account Manager level role.
  • Experience engaging with Health & Safety Managers, Procurement teams and senior operational stakeholders.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the decision-making process and structure of medium to large end users within the Construction related sector.
  • Ability to demonstrate successful National Account Management skills and business growth opportunities with key decision makers.
  • Practically minded with a technical/mechanical aptitude and willing and able to learn and apply new product or technical knowledge
  • Determination to build a career with a forward-thinking business
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship building skills both internally and externally
  • Strong IT skills e.g. CRM, MS Office, PowerPoint, Internet etc
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to recognise new business opportunities
  • Must be willing to work away from home when necessary and occasionally weekends (agreed in advance).
  • Full UK Driving Licence
