National Sales Account Manager

£45,000 - £50,000 Plus Benefits


This is the punchy, high-impact version built to hook the seasoned FMCG operator who’s ready to leave corporate noise behind and step into a role with real autonomy, real influence and real commercial ownership.

The Company

A fast-growing, privately owned business — known for strong products, strong relationships and a no-nonsense approach to commercial growth. We’re on the lookout for a National Sales Account Manager with a passion for relationship management, commercial insight and winning new business.

The Role

  • Growing national accounts and strengthening relationships across wholesale channels.
  • Winning new business by spotting opportunities early and converting them into long-term revenue.
  • Negotiating commercial deals that protect margin and drive profitable growth.
  • Tracking performance, competitor pricing and market trends to stay ahead of the sector.
  • Driving distribution, visibility and category performance across key accounts.
  • Reporting monthly on sales activity, revenue, profitability and forecasts.
  • Working directly with the company directors to deliver — and exceed — agreed sales and profit targets.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • A well-rounded FMCG sales or national account manager with deep experience in drinks, food or consumer goods.
  • Someone who has spent years building relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers — and knows how to influence at board level.
  • Commercially sharp, confident in pricing strategy, margin protection and promotional planning.
  • Thrives in a privately owned, entrepreneurial environment where decisions are fast and trust is high.
  • Ready for a change of pace — more autonomy, more ownership, more impact.
