Role: National Sales Content Executive

Location: Nationwide

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: £33,201.00 - Rest of England £36,924.00 - London

St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. We do this through developing and providing effective community response and outreach services (e.g. Ambulance response) and using our longstanding expertise to empower people with vital clinical skills and the confidence to use them (e.g. our Volunteers and Community Advocates, and Young Responders programmes).

Job Summary

Join St John Ambulance as a National Sales Content Executive and take ownership of the development, governance and continuous improvement of sales content and materials across our Sales and Business Development function.

You will play a key role in ensuring our customer-facing materials are professional, consistent, engaging and aligned with our brand. Working closely with Brand, Trade, Bids and Sales teams, you will develop impactful presentations, proposals, templates and other sales assets that strengthen customer engagement and support commercial success.

As the central owner of sales content, you will ensure materials meet agreed standards and consistently position St John Ambulance as professional, credible and customer-focused. You will also support internal engagement by promoting the work and impact of the Sales function, helping to improve visibility, communication and collaboration across the organisation.

About You

  • You have experience developing and managing sales content, communications, marketing materials or customer-facing assets within a commercial or business environment.
  • You have a strong understanding of how high-quality content can influence customer engagement, strengthen brand perception and support commercial outcomes.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging and persuasive content for a range of audiences.
  • You have strong attention to detail and understand the importance of consistency, accuracy and quality across customer-facing materials.
  • You are confident managing multiple content projects and priorities while ensuring deadlines and agreed standards are met.
  • You have experience working collaboratively with teams such as Brand, Marketing, Sales, Trade, Bids or Business Development.
  • You are able to balance creativity with commercial objectives and brand guidelines, ensuring content is both engaging and effective.
  • You are organised and proactive, with the ability to establish clear processes and governance around content creation and management.
  • You are comfortable challenging existing approaches and identifying opportunities to improve the quality, accessibility and effectiveness of sales materials.
  • You have a strong understanding of internal communications and enjoy finding ways to engage colleagues and promote the impact of their work.

About the Role

  • Lead the development, governance and continuous improvement of sales content and materials across the Sales and Business Development function.
  • Act as the central owner of customer-facing sales materials, ensuring content is professional, consistent, accurate and aligned with agreed standards.
  • Develop high-quality presentations, proposals, templates and other sales assets that support customer engagement and commercial success.
  • Work closely with Brand, Trade, Bids and Sales teams to develop impactful and commercially focused content.
  • Ensure all outbound sales materials reflect the St John Ambulance brand and consistently position the organisation as professional, credible and customer-focused.
  • Establish and maintain clear processes and governance for the creation, approval, storage and use of sales content.
  • Review existing materials regularly and identify opportunities to improve their quality, accessibility, consistency and effectiveness.
  • Use feedback, insight and performance data to understand what content is working effectively and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support Sales teams with the development of tailored materials for customer opportunities, proposals and presentations.
  • Manage internal communications across the Sales function, supporting colleague engagement and improving visibility of the team's activity and achievements.
  • Promote the impact and contribution of the Sales and Business Development function across the wider organisation.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure sales content is accessible, easy to use and supports consistent ways of working.
