Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of innovative drying agents for the construction sector. Our products are revolutionising how industries such as construction and utilities work with advanced soil drying agents, offering cost-effective and sustainable solutions. We are expanding our reach across multiple sectors, including groundworks, earthworks, housebuilding, utilities, and beyond. With a growing team and a commitment to excellence, we aim to support projects ranging from large-scale infrastructure to day-to-day site operations.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated National Sales Manager to lead the sales strategy and commercial growth of our client's product range, with a primary focus on our client's RC. This is a field-based role: you will be out in the market, building relationships and developing new business across the groundworks, earthworks, and national and regional housebuilder sectors, while continually identifying and developing awareness in adjacent and emerging markets.
Operating largely independently from a home base, you will manage your own diary and territory to maximise time in front of customers and prospects. You will be commercially driven, comfortable working autonomously, and confident planning your own schedule to deliver consistent sales results. You will work closely with the Director of Strategic Growth (DOSG) and the internal Operations Assistant (OA) to ensure activity in the field is matched by seamless support, accurate CRM data, and efficient order fulfillment back at base.
Key Responsibilities
Field Sales & New Business Development
- Take full ownership of the national sales strategy for our client's RC, proactively planning and managing your own diary to maximise face-to-face time with customers and prospects across your territory.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across groundworkers, earthworks contractors, and national and regional housebuilders.
- Build awareness and demand for our client's RC beyond these core sectors, identifying and developing new market segments as opportunities arise.
- Conduct regular site visits, client meetings, and product demonstrations to promote the technical and commercial benefits of our client's RC.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
