Role Description

The National Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom. This position is responsible for leading national sales operations, including setting sales targets, developing market penetration strategies, and overseeing key customer accounts.

  • Monitoring performance metrics
  • Implementing sales plans aligned with company objectives

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining relationships with distributors, installers, and commercial partners
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Negotiating major contracts

Collaboration

The role also involves close collaboration with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure accurate product positioning, timely delivery, and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in national or regional sales leadership, ideally within renewable energy, solar, or electrical products.
  • Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and the use of CRM systems.
  • Strong skills in business development, key account management, and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to inform strategy and drive revenue growth.
  • Proven team leadership capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound understanding of solar energy products or technical aptitude to quickly learn product specifications and applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel within the United Kingdom for customer visits, site meetings, and industry events.
