National Account Manager - Consumer
Position: Permanent, Full-time, Remote.
Salary: Competitive
Role:
As the National Account Manager - Consumer, you will directly manage our top two retailers, playing a key role in the execution of our Channel Strategy. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement the sales plan, ensuring we achieve our Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals in sales, volume, and margin.
Key Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, fostering effective relationships with Category Buyers and cross-functional teams
- Drive business development by securing new listings, SKUs, and New Product Development within existing accounts to enhance profit margin, turnover, volume, distribution, and market share
- Team Collaboration: work closely with marketing, finance, product, and supply chain departments to deliver a category approach across product plans, promotional needs in live with the overall Channel Strategy.
- Develop and align joint business plans with the Sales Leader, Channel Manager, and Channel Partners focusing on AOP targets for sales, margin, volume, and market share
- Analyse Channel performance to identify gaps and opportunities, applying problem-solving techniques
- Manage forecasting, price and terms negotiation, planning, and P&L responsibilities for key retailers.
- Establish an annual promotional activity plan to drive sales

Person Specification
- Proven experience as a retail sales professional with the ability to network and influence at all organizational levels
- Strong commercial awareness
- Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a creative, solution-focused mindset
- High attention to detail, combined with excellent presentation, strong administrative, and analytical abilities
- Project management organized approach to manage multiple large accounts and marketing timelines at the same time
