Are you an experienced medical sales leader with a passion for developing high-performing teams? Do you enjoy coaching sales professionals, building strategic customer relationships and driving sustainable commercial growth across the NHS?
We're partnering with a globally recognised manufacturer of respiratory, anaesthesia and critical care medical devices, to appoint a National Sales Manager to lead and develop their UK commercial team.
Competitive Basic Salary + Bonus + Company Car / Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on sales leader who enjoys spending time in the field, developing people, supporting key customer relationships and implementing a clear commercial strategy within a growing organisation.
About
A leading global manufacturer of respiratory, anaesthesia and critical care products, trusted by healthcare professionals across hospitals, emergency medicine, operating theatres and homecare settings worldwide.
With a reputation for quality, innovation and clinical excellence, our client partners with NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes through a comprehensive portfolio of respiratory consumables, airway management products, oxygen therapy systems, anaesthesia solutions and critical care technologies.
As part of its continued UK growth strategy the business is investing in its commercial leadership team to support the development of both its people and market presence.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the UK Commercial Director, you'll lead a national team of Territory Managers and Clinical Sales Specialists responsible for driving growth across the respiratory and critical care portfolio.
This is not a desk-based management role.
You'll spend significant time coaching your team in the field, accompanying them on customer visits, supporting complex NHS sales opportunities and helping individuals maximise their potential through structured development and performance management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
