Sales Manager (UK&I)
We're recruiting a Sales Manager (UK&I) for a well-established manufacturer of electric motors, servo drives, and motion controllers.
Package:
- £70,000 Base Salary
- £15,000 Company Bonus
- Car Allowance
- 5% Pension
- Hybrid Working
Location:
- Homebased in the UK
- Client Visits in the UK
- 1 Day Per Week in Gloucester Office
Role Overview
A sales and technical leader responsible for driving UK growth in industrial automation and motion control. The role combines OEM solution development, partner channel support, and leadership of both product support and inside sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow OEM business through strong commercial and technical support to UK partners.
- Lead joint customer projects, ensuring clear communication and well‑defined scope and requirements.
- Develop machine‑level solutions for OEMs, including specification, resource planning and integration support.
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities across partners and direct OEMs.
- Shape the future structure of the product engineering and support teams, including people, processes and tools.
- Lead the global product support function:
- Improve ticket handling processes and customer support quality.
- Allocate tasks across regional teams and enhance customer‑facing technical information.
- Coordinate internal and external training for support teams, application engineers, distributors and customers.
- Contribute to new product development activities, including product readiness sign‑off and performance evaluation.
- Assess and develop training needs across the team to build strong product expertise.
- Support recruitment of additional technical and commercial staff.
- Lead the inside sales team, managing standard and special pricing across the global network.
