Main Purpose of the Job
The primary responsibility of the individual is to drive the sales growth of Saniflo branded products across various channels, including national merchants, distributors, independent merchants, installers, contractors, and specifiers. The overarching goal is to contribute to the development of Saniflo product sales throughout the UK by maintaining the domestic pump market share and by proactively growing the commercial pump area of the business. Additionally, the role involves overseeing and supporting Area Sales Managers, guiding them in effectively converting leads and inquiries within the pump market. The role emphasises strategic team management to achieve the collective success that is in line with the wider UK & Group strategies.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to drive new sales and enhance existing sales for all Saniflo branded products across diverse sales channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new or vertical market opportunities, ensuring the continuous growth of Saniflo's market presence.
- Cultivate and nurture long-term business relationships with existing accounts across the UK, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the sector, keeping up to date with market trends and competitor developments.
- Lead, manage and inspire Saniflo Area Sales Managers, providing direction and guidance to achieve optimal performance, targeted sales objectives and KPIs.
- Conduct regular meetings that include training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Implement effective performance management practices, providing constructive feedback, setting clear objectives, and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Collaborate with Commercial ASMs on site visits, ensuring accurate specification of Saniflo products and timely quotation preparation.

Knowledge and Experience
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably with a good understanding of the P & H industry’s dynamics and requirements.
- Proactive, motivated and driven.
- Business-focused and aware.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and presentational.
- Adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient use of CRM tools and competent in producing reports when required.
- Confident negotiator with the ability to “close the deal.”
- Ability to self-manage own workload to tight deadlines, including balancing, planning, and organising multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Adaptable and flexible.
- Proven success in a similar role.

Judgement and Decisions
- The individual is responsible for exercising sound judgment in making decisions that significantly contribute to the positive performance of the company.
- When authorisation is necessary, or decisions surpass the designated level, the job holder is expected to seek guidance from the UK Sales Manager.
- The individual will be required to analyse team members differing perspectives, recognising the impact their choices may have on the performance and morale of the team.

Reporting
- Ensure the accurate and up-to-date maintenance & management of all customer records within the company's CRM system on a daily basis.
- Proactive management of the ASM sales opportunities & pipelines, creating useable reports to provide insights and sales orientated tasks.
- Prepare and submit a comprehensive monthly sales report to the UK Sales Manager within specified timelines.
- Provide timely and relevant 'within the market' intelligence to the business when available, contributing valuable insights to enhance strategic decision-making.
- Engage in collaborative discussions within meetings, offering insights, and sharing expertise to contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
- Ensure that all contributions within meetings are made in a timely manner and maintain a professional demeanour in all interactions.

Effective Communication
- Demonstrate proficient communication skills across all predetermined formats to ensure the dissemination of information related to agreed-upon activities within the customer base and among internal departments at SFA Saniflo UK.
Time Allocation
Internal Activities: Allocate 25% of your time to internal activities, participating in sales meetings, and attending sessions such as specific product training. This ensures alignment with team objectives and enhances internal collaboration.
Customer Engagement and Team Management: Dedicate 75% of your efforts to engaging with the customer base, effectively presenting the features, advantages, and benefits of the Saniflo product ranges. Simultaneously, actively manage and lead the Saniflo team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Recognise the importance of cultivating specific and relevant contacts within the market and current customer base, building and maintaining relationships that contribute to the success of both individual sales initiatives and broader organisational goals.
