National Sales Manager
Are you an experienced sales professional with a strong background in Tail Lifts, commercial vehicles, or a related technical product environment?
Our client, a specialist supplier in the tail lift sector, is looking for a National Sales Manager to take ownership of sales growth across England, working closely with an established network of channel partners and customers.
This is a remote-based, consultative, commercially focused role where you’ll combine sales strategy, business development, account management, and partner development to increase revenue, strengthen market presence, and maximize sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage key channel partner relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and implement effective sales plans to achieve commercial targets
- Build strong relationships with channel partners and support them in achieving sales and margin targets
- Identify opportunities to increase market share, revenue, and customer satisfaction
- Develop sales plans and strategies based on market opportunities and partner requirements
- Work with internal teams to deliver targeted marketing and sales initiatives
- Provide product, sales, and consultative selling to channel partners
- Support partners with product knowledge, digital tools, and effective sales techniques
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
- Resolve issues quickly while maintaining positive, long-term business relationships
- Travel extensively across England to meet customers and channel partners

Who They’re Looking For:
- Proven direct sales experience within the Tail Lift industry or a closely related commercial vehicle environment
- Experience managing sales activity through a channel or partner network
- Strong business development, networking, and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
- A commercially driven, consultative, and customer-focused approach
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across England
- Right to work in the UK
