Sales Specialist – Optical / Eyewear
Location: UK-wide
Salary: £30,000 neg + £30,000 + bonus + company car

Are you an experienced sales professional within the optical or sports, eyewear or consumer healthcare sector looking for a field sales role?
We are working with a highly regarded eyewear brand that is looking to appoint a UK Sales Executive to develop and grow relationships with independent opticians and optical groups across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a quality-focused business with an established product portfolio, strong brand reputation and ambitious growth plans.
The Role
As a Sales Specialist, you will take responsibility for driving sales across the UK, developing existing accounts while identifying and winning new business within the optical market.
You will build strong relationships with opticians, practice owners, buyers and key decision-makers, helping practices grow their eyewear offering through a combination of excellent products, commercial support and first-class service.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of optical customers across the UK
- Identifying and winning new business with independent opticians and optical groups
- Building long-term relationships with practice owners, buyers and key decision-makers
- Presenting and promoting a high-quality eyewear portfolio
- Increasing sales, distribution and product penetration across existing accounts
- Conducting regular customer visits, product presentations and range reviews
- Identifying new commercial opportunities and developing territory plans
- Working closely with internal teams across marketing, customer service and operations
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends
- Managing your own sales pipeline and delivering against agreed revenue targets
- Representing the brand at industry events, exhibitions and customer meetings

About You
We are looking for a commercially driven sales professional who understands the optical market and enjoys developing strong customer relationships.
Ideally, you will have experience selling eyewear, optical products, lenses, frames or associated products into opticians, although candidates with a strong track record selling premium products into the optical sector will also be considered.
You will be:
- An experienced field-based sales professional
- Confident selling to opticians, practice owners and senior decision-makers
- Commercially focused and motivated by achieving and exceeding targets
- Strong at developing long-term customer relationships
- Comfortable generating new business as well as managing existing accounts
- Highly organised, self-motivated and capable of managing a UK territory
- Confident delivering product presentations and commercial discussions
- Professional, personable and able to represent a premium brand
