Join Amentum's National Security Business

Help deliver some of the UK's most critical and complex programmes. We are seeking eDV-cleared professionals across project delivery, engineering, architecture, and business transformation disciplines to support missions that protect and enhance UK sovereign capability.

You'll work on projects of genuine national importance, tackling complex digital, engineering, and transformation challenges while building your experience through varied and impactful assignments. As part of a collaborative team that values trust, integrity, and delivery excellence, you'll have the opportunity to develop a rewarding career within one of the UK's most critical and dynamic sectors, helping to strengthen the UK's future security and resilience.

About the Opportunity

We have a range of opportunities for professionals at different stages of their careers who are looking to broaden their skills and experience within Amentum's UK National Security portfolio. Our teams support a diverse range of digital, engineering, and business transformation programmes across government, contributing throughout the full project lifecycle.

These roles would suit individuals who enjoy working collaboratively to deliver outcomes, are comfortable operating within complex government environments, and are motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to UK sovereign capability. Successful candidates will bring a proactive approach, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within secure and highly regulated environments.

You'll be working on complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives where clarity, discipline, and sound judgement are essential. These are hands-on delivery roles, requiring adaptability and a commitment to delivering outcomes in highly secure environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
