About the Role
Are you ready to join a Company that really believes that people are the very heart of the business and really values your contribution? Due to the continued expansion of the business and increasing demands, we’re looking for a Head of Technical Power to come and join our team.
As National Service Manager you will lead and support the delivery of consistent, compliant and efficient service and maintenance standards across the Power Generation fleet, using operational data, audit activity and stakeholder engagement to improve asset availability, service quality and customer outcomes.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure all hired assets are serviced as per manufacturers guidelines
- Delivery of the Refurbishment Strategy
- Ensure all connected assets are monitored within the business SLAs
- Ensure all breakdowns are analysed and root cause analysis completed
- Identify opportunities for improvement based on data available
- Conduct asset audits on site to ensure quality of servicing is in line with company expectations
- Develop and implement audit schedule for onsite audits and ensure this is adhered to
- Provide regular performance updates to key stakeholders, highlighting service compliance, breakdown trends, connected asset alerts, risks and improvement actions
- Support the business to ensure our assets remain compliant
- Provide analytical support and advice to the Power Business unit
- Ensure all training for all direct line reports is completed
- Provide coaching and mentoring to all direct line reports
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve service compliance, asset availability, breakdown response and operational efficiency
- Form pro-active relationships with the depot network
- Provide reports to the business to ensure operational excellence
- Ensure all new assets are on boarded into the Power business correctly and efficiently
- Produce and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Conduct PDRs for all direct line reports

Essential Skills and Behaviours
- Experience in Power Generation, plant hire, fleet maintenance or a technical service environment
- Strong understanding of planned maintenance, compliance and asset performance
- Experience managing or leading teams
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel capability
- Mechanical or electrical qualification (Desirable)
- Experience with telemetry / connected asset platforms (Desirable)
- Knowledge of generator servicing, refurbishment and breakdown analysis (Desirable)
- Experience in audit programmes or quality assurance (Desirable)
- Power BI or advanced reporting experience (Desirable)
