NPCC Vetting Hub Administrator

Salary £25,242.00 - £26,703.00

The main purpose of the role is to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the NPCC Vetting Strategic Hub Team.

Main Responsibilities

  • To provide administrative support to the NPCC Vetting Strategic Hub team including dealing with telephone, email and Teams enquiries, managing correspondence and other related duties.
  • To manage and answer correspondence to the NPCC Vetting Strategic Hub inbox resolving queries and issues personally if possible or referring to other members of staff as appropriate.
  • To compose and deal with routine correspondence on behalf of the NPCC Vetting Strategic Hub Team.
  • To collate information from various sources on behalf of the NPCC Vetting Strategic Hub and use IT to produce high quality documents and presentations for the purpose of briefing and communicating.
  • To raise orders, ensuring the correct receipt of goods at the point of delivery. To process invoices and expenses in accordance with financial regulations.
  • To maintain filing systems, storage and archiving, and assist with the transfer of files keeping sensitive information private and confidential.
  • Work with NPCC Vetting Strategic Hub team to contribute to maintaining and developing best practices for efficient communication with police forces and stakeholders.
  • To undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required.

Knowledge

  • Education to GCSE level including A – C in English language or NVQ Equivalent.
  • Knowledge of routine administration processes.

Experience

  • Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment
  • Experience of providing administrative support to senior management in a professional environment.
