Eden Scott is delighted to be partnering with a leading global asset management organisation to recruit a Senior Administrator, Investment & Fund Administration for a 1 Year Contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fund operations professional to join a high-performing EMEA team, supporting critical fund administration and investment operations activities across a diverse range of investment products.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager, Fund & Investment Administration EMEA, this role will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of NAV Oversight and Investment Operations activities, whilst contributing to a strong control environment, operational resilience and continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Senior Administrator, you will take ownership of a broad range of operational processes across the investment lifecycle, working closely with internal stakeholders and third-party service providers. You will operate with a high degree of independence, applying sound judgement and technical expertise to resolve complex issues, manage exceptions and support the ongoing enhancement of operational processes.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of fund administration activities and provides an excellent platform for someone looking to further develop their expertise within a sophisticated asset management environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee key EMEA operational activities across NAV Oversight and Investment Operations.
  • Investigate and resolve NAV breaks, valuation and pricing exceptions, cash and position discrepancies, and trade-related issues.
  • Support operational processes throughout the trade and post-trade lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Maintain robust documentation, controls, operating procedures and evidence records.
  • Support wider Fund & Investment Administration activities as required.
  • Liaise with fund administrators, custodians and other service providers to ensure effective oversight and issue resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with Product, Investment, Finance, Risk and Compliance teams across the business.
  • Support governance, audit and regulatory requests through the provision of accurate operational information and evidence.
  • Assist in coordinating responses to operational incidents and significant fund events.
  • Execute and evidence key controls to maintain a strong governance framework.
  • Support investigations into operational incidents and process exceptions.
  • Contribute to operational resilience through effective procedures, cross-training and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant regulatory and market developments impacting EMEA fund operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability and control effectiveness.
  • Support process automation and technology-driven enhancements, including AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.
  • Participate in change initiatives, testing and implementation activities.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of management information, reporting and operational workflows.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Solid experience within Fund Administration, Fund Operations or Investment Operations gained in an asset management environment.
  • Strong exposure to NAV Oversight, valuation oversight, investment operations or related fund servicing activities.
  • Working knowledge of EMEA fund structures and operational processes.
  • Experience investigating and resolving operational exceptions in a controlled and time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and process optimisation.
  • Advanced Excel and operational systems experience.
  • Working knowledge of Aladdin is essential.
