Who We Are
We are Malin Marine Consultants (part of Malin Group). We offer a range of specialist technical services across a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines, including stability, structural and mooring analyses, feasibility, concept and FEED solutions. Our clients range from ferry, naval and commercial vessel operators to shipyards, marine civil contractors and marine infrastructure owners.
About The Role
As a Naval Architect within Malin Marine Consultants, you will find yourself working on a variety of exciting engineering projects ranging from research and development to vessel design and delivery. You will also be exposed to transformational development projects that aims to disrupt the maritime industry with positive change.
You will be responsible for concept and feasibility studies, naval architecture studies and structural analysis, with major input into our research and development projects. All whilst maintaining a close watch on industry trends within your field of expertise.

Skills And Experience
We are looking for someone who embodies a unique blend of technical expertise, creativity, and interpersonal skills. Given the complex and multidisciplinary nature of naval architecture, we are looking for someone to take ownership of a variety of technical packages across our exciting projects and see through to delivery.
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Minimum degree level qualified in relevant subject or have an appropriate level of relevant industry experience
- Experience of working with Strand7 and GHS for stability and structural analysis
- Strong analytical skills
- Technical proficiency

Where You Will Be Working
Malin Marine Consultants are based at the iconic South Rotunda building on the South bank of the River Clyde. The South Rotunda remains an iconic landmark in Glasgow, representing both the city's rich industrial past and its vibrant present.
