Location: DHL Aviation, East Midlands Airport

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 21:00 - 05:30 (40 hours per week flexibility required)

🔎 About The Role

As an NCG Road Agent, you'll play a key role in keeping DHL's UK and European transport network moving. You'll monitor shipments, coordinate operational activity, provide real-time updates, and work closely with colleagues, customers, and partners to ensure excellent service, network visibility, and smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing

  • Represent DHL in a professional and efficient manner in order to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Support the field operations by ensuring all checkpoints have been applied for full network and customer visibility.
  • Gain the trust and support of wider linehaul teams, internal and external customers.
  • Provide administrative and operational tasks, necessary to effectively and accurately capture and communicate movement details and updates to the network as per GSOP Compliances.
  • Manage day to day workload and seek support when required.
  • Use computer systems with numerous applications to ensure work is completed in accordance with company requirements.
  • Communicate with colleagues ensuring that service delivery levels are consistently high.
  • Help manage the day to day network operation (UK road and air network/ EU Road network).
  • Liaise with the operation team to ensure our standard processes and procedures are observed.
  • Report on any concerns that threaten the integrity of our security.
  • Adhere to legislation including Health and Safety, Working Time Directive regulations and all company procedures.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required i.e. Yard duties/Winter Ops.

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Administrative experience (preferred).
  • DHL operational knowledge (beneficial).
  • Logistics and supply chain knowledge (beneficial).
  • Proficiency in logistics systems/software (beneficial).
