NDA Hub Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as an NDA Hub Coordinator. The post-holder will have day to day responsibility for the coordination of the NDA funded Pu Ceramics Hub, working closely with the NDA Hub Director and Co-Directors, industrial partners, management, and Doctoral Academy team to ensure delivery of an exceptional student experience and to support the strategic and long-term objectives of the NDA Hub.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Faculty Marketing and Communications Team to plan and coordinate the delivery of a marketing campaign, developing a web and social media presence to raise the profile of the NDA Hub to support recruitment of high-quality students.
  • Support applicants through the application process, coordinating offers and feedback to applicants in conjunction with the Doctoral Academy admissions team.
  • Support the delivery of events, projects, and initiatives in pursuit of the NDA Hub ambitions and objectives including organization of and support for NDA Hub activities such as recruitment events, interviews and Vivas, conferences/workshops, and outreach events, away days, and symposiums.
  • Support the Hub Director with management of the Hub's budget in line with university regulations and funding body terms and conditions.

About You

We encourage applications from individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. You should demonstrate:

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant administrative and management experience, backed with evidence of success and appropriate specialist knowledge relating to supporting PGR Students within a higher education setting.
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment and delivering exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with budgets within defined financial processes and policies.
  • Experience of events management including programme organization, coordination of events activities, and communication.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work to and meet deadlines.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous administrative experience of doctoral training centres/programmes.
