Description of the Role
TWI is seeking to appoint a Senior NDT Site Technician within the NDE Inspection Services (NIS) Section, based at either our Cambridge, Middlesbrough, or Port Talbot location.
The NIS Section delivers a diverse range of projects for an international customer base, often operating in highly demanding environments. Our work includes NDE technique development, qualification activities, and on-site inspection services. As part of our growth strategy, we are looking to expand our Advanced NDE site inspection capability.
We are seeking a professional, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to support a wide variety of site inspection activities for TWI's Industrial Members. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' industrial experience and hold relevant NDT certifications.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two ISO 9712 Level 2 certifications
- PAUT and ET certifications are strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of ISO standards and their practical application
- Working knowledge of inspection acceptance criteria and their application within industry
Desirable Qualifications
- PAUT, ISO 9712 Level 2
- ToFD, ISO 9712 Level 2
- EC Welds and/or Wrought Products, ISO 9712 Level 2
- UT 3.1 / 3.2, ISO 9712 Level 2
- ACFM, ISO 9712 Level 1 or Level 2

Travel
This position will be based from our Cambridge, Middlesbrough or Port Talbot office but will require frequent travel within the UK and abroad to deliver NDT inspection work to TWI Industrial Members.
