Full-time | Remote (Philippines) | Australian business hours
We are looking for an experienced NDIS Compliance Officer to take ownership of the compliance function for a growing Australian NDIS provider, working fully remotely with a supportive, close-knit team.
This role runs the internal audit program end to end, keeping the incident, feedback and compliance registers audit-ready, maintaining current NDIS service agreements, and staying on top of worker screening and credential requirements across the business. With no in-house compliance specialist to hand over from, this is a genuine opportunity to make the role your own, bringing structure, rhythm and best practice from your previous NDIS experience.
The ideal person is self-directed, detail focused and confident driving compliance rather than waiting to be asked.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and run the internal audit program, working from the incident report, feedback and compliance registers and keeping the live audit schedule up to date.
- Keep NDIS service agreements current, tracking expiries and renewals and following up before anything lapses.
- Work through the existing backlog of participant support plans and risk assessments, then manage their annual renewal cycle going forward.
- Monitor and track worker and contractor compliance documents, including NDIS Worker Screening Clearances, Working with Children Checks, driver licenses and ID checks, first aid and CPR certificates, professional registrations and qualifications, insurances, and mandatory NDIS training records.
- Record, classify and follow up complaints and incidents in line with NDIS reportable incident obligations, keeping registers organized and audit ready.
- Prepare compliance documents and evidence ready for lodgment through the NDIS provider portal, with the onshore team completing the final upload and review.
- Maintain accurate compliance records across the CRM, SharePoint and Excel-based registers.
- Review how compliance is currently run and proactively recommend improvements, drawing on processes from your previous NDIS roles.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
