Main Purpose
This role presents a long-term, engaging, and rewarding opportunity as a key member of Bilfinger UK’s expanding inspection team at Hinkley Point C. In the role of an NDT Technician, you will play a crucial role in the execution of a quality NDT service throughout the site.

Main Responsibilities
- Conducting NDT (volumetric and surface methods) on pipework, tanks/vessels, and structures
- Completing inspection reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Accurately interpreting and documenting test findings in alignment with procedures and industry acceptance standards
- Reviewing colleagues' reports and interpretation of results
- Completing and recording daily equipment checks
- Strict adherence to both our internal and site-specific health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) policies
- Conducting point of work risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment
- Providing mentorship and training to apprentices
- Writing detailed and concise inspection technique sheets

Experience And Qualifications
Essential:
- PCN Level 2 or equivalent ISO 9712 certification in Radiography, MPI, and DPI
Preference for candidates with:
- Additional NDT qualifications (PCN ARS, UT, VT)
- Experience with new build, construction site weld testing
Desirable:
- Knowledge of IRR 2017
- Can-do, problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a willing ability to work in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Role - Full time, On-Site
Rotation - 2 on 2 off
