Job Title
We are seeking a skilled Non-destructive Testing Technician to join our team.
Requirements
- Candidates must have a valid PCN Level 2 in MPI & DPI (minimum) - due to the specifications we work to this is essential.
Role Description
This varying NDT inspection role will mainly be carried out on customer premises in and around the Midlands although travel further afield is sometimes required, due to the need to travel to customer premises the candidate would be required to hold a full driving licence.
As an NDT inspector you will be responsible for the examination, interpretation and reporting of results to the customer in a variety of techniques and products including forgings, fabrications, wrought products and site shut down work.

You will be expected to work both on your own and in a team reporting to the manager.
Desired Skills and Experience
The company is interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience carrying out NDT inspections.
- Experience of reading and working to NDT procedures and acceptance levels.
- Good communication skills.
- Confidence working on your own and in a small team.
- Ability to complete post inspection job sheets/reports.
- Conscientious and trustworthy.
- Willing to work extended hours/overtime as and when required.
