Job Description: NDT Technician
Libellum is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for an experienced NDT Technician to join our team on a permanent basis.
About the Role
The role will be predominantly based across Teesside & the North East, working in busy fabrication shops and on client sites. Applicants must also be prepared to travel throughout the UK and internationally when projects require it.
Key Responsibilities
- Location: Teesside & the North East (with UK and international travel as required)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with potential for overtime
- Pay: Basic hourly rate £18.50 - £20.00 per hour depending on qualifications & experience
- Benefits: 25 days holiday a year, plus bank holidays and your birthday off
Essential Qualifications
- PCN Level 2 Magnetic Particle Testing
- PCN Level 2 Dye Penetrant Testing
- PCN Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing – 3.1/3.2
- PCN Level 2 Visual Testing

Advantageous Qualifications
- PCN Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing – 3.8/3.9
- PCN Level 2 Eddy Current Testing
Experience Required
- Previous experience working within busy fabrication shop environments.
- Experience of working alone and as part of a larger project team.
- Experience of dealing directly with clients and client quality teams.
- Competent using Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Experience completing reports for clients.

- Understands fabrication and welding processes.
- Recognises the importance of clear, accurate, and timely reporting.
- Comfortable working alongside production teams.
- Manages changing priorities and maintains inspection standards in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to adapt to different working environments, clients, and project requirements.
