We are looking to strengthen our NDT capability with experienced NDT Technicians to support one of the UK's most significant energy infrastructure projects at Hinkley Point C.

You will play a key role in ensuring welding, fabrication and installation activities meet the required quality, safety and technical standards. The position will involve a combination of 50% site/field-based activity and 50% office-based work.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced NDT professionals looking to develop their careers within the UK nuclear sector and contribute to the delivery of a major infrastructure programme. We are particularly keen to speak with NDT professionals who combine strong PCN qualifications with practical welding and site experience.

If you have a strong background in PAUT, UT, RT, RI and are interested in joining our team, please get in touch to discuss the opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out and/or oversee NDT activities across site.
  • Perform inspections in accordance with approved procedures, specifications and applicable codes and standards.
  • Support PAUT, UT and RT inspection activities.
  • Review and interpret NDT results and technical documentation.
  • Support welding inspection and quality activities across mechanical installation works.
  • Work closely with welding, construction, quality and engineering teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
  • Review and support Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and associated quality documentation.
  • Ensure inspection activities are accurately documented and fully traceable.
  • Identify non-conformances and support appropriate corrective actions.
  • Liaise with contractors and key project stakeholders to maintain the required standards of quality.
  • Maintain a strong focus on nuclear safety, quality and compliance throughout all activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
