Interested in testing high-spec aerospace parts on a fluorescent penetrant line?
Would you like the job stability of working for an engineering company that has been machining metallic components for the aerospace industry since before the Second World War?
About the company
This company is determined to stay at the cutting edge of aerospace manufacturing. They take on challenges other suppliers can't - working with exotic materials for demanding environments, and to ultra-tight tolerances.
They've invested heavily in industry leading machine tools and continuously develop their specialist teams. After all, it's a rapidly evolving industry.
Their team is growing and they have an exciting future ahead!
Oh, and there's an early finish on Friday.
Please note: Current holders of aerospace certification (EN 4179 or PCN Aero) are preferred and will command the higher end of the salary on offer (£38k). However, those without that certification will still be considered, but would have to undergo a training period before being allowed to operate independently. Once qualified iaw EN 4179, the salary will rise from £35k to £38k.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
