The Role

The role is to support London and South in delivering NEC Supervisor consultancy services.

We are seeking an NEC Supervisor to support the Project Management and Building Surveying teams in delivering a pipeline of Construction Projects using the NEC suite of contracts.

The successful candidate will be supported by our Building Surveying team based in London.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of NEC Supervisor and site quality monitoring roles for central government departments.
  • Strong understanding of the NEC contract and the role of the NEC Supervisor.
  • Strong grounding in building technology including modern methods of construction (MMC).
  • Reviewing works on site for adherence with the design information, the contract, good working practice, and manufacturers recommendations.
  • Collaboration with other disciplines such as Engineers, Architects, Project Managers, and Client stakeholders.
  • Effective communication both verbally and written including ability to access and report on online information platforms.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and to work independently.
  • A focus on safety and a good understanding of the health and safety risk in construction.
  • Experience in report progress, compliance, and defects using traditional written reports and online platforms such as Asite and CEMAR.

Requirements

  • A relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification.
  • SC Clearance (not essential)
  • Chartered Building Surveyor/Engineer/Architect (not essential)
  • NEC Supervisor Accreditation (not essential)
