The role

If you’re passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives, this role puts you right at the heart of our sheltered and supported housing communities across Merseyside.

As our Neighbourhood & Communities Team Leader, you’ll drive the delivery of a high‑quality, customer‑focused housing management service that genuinely reflects the needs and voices of our residents. You’ll take the lead on risk management, budget control, and performance improvement, ensuring our services remain safe, efficient, and responsive.

You’ll also play a key part in shaping our teams. You’ll lead and support Independent Living Officers across 10 schemes, and manage our Supported Housing Officer, helping them deliver outstanding support to tenants who rely on our services.

This is a role for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys working with people, and is motivated by seeing communities flourish.

The right fit

  • You have a track record of building strong teams, motivating people, and bringing organisational values to life.
  • You’re great with people and committed to delivering services that genuinely meet customer needs.
  • You’ve managed staff in housing or a closely related field and understand what good service delivery looks like.
  • You can communicate confidently, whether face‑to‑face or through clear, well‑structured reports.
  • You’re skilled at coordinating complex workloads, responding to changing demands, and keeping systems running smoothly.
  • You can interpret and present complex information to support decision‑making and drive improvement.
  • You’re comfortable managing budgets and ensuring resources are used wisely.
  • You’ve led teams to deliver high performance, service improvements, and strong outcomes.
  • You’re flexible, calm under pressure, and experienced in leading teams through change.
  • You’re committed to embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion in everything you do.
  • You can turn strategic goals into practical plans and oversee delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
