Salary: Up to £38,096
Location: Solihull
Basis: Permanent, Full Time

Our Neighbourhood Officers are at the heart of what we do as an organisation. We have a great opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our Localities team providing a comprehensive housing management service, working with communities and neighbourhoods around Solihull.
You will be someone who takes a hands-on approach, helping customers to manage their tenancies and improve our neighbourhoods for everyone. Most of the time you will be out and about in your patch, working closely with customers to promote sustainable tenancies and developing strong relationships with local communities.
What could you be doing as one of our Neighbourhood Officers?
The Neighbourhood Officer will be responsible for:
- Visiting customers, providing advice, reviewing tenancies and identifying any problems
- Regularly inspecting our estates, raising, reporting and monitoring to a successful conclusion any health and safety or safeguarding concerns
- Playing a key role in developing strong relationships within local communities, working collaboratively with other agencies and Platform colleagues
- Maintaining accurate customer, tenancy and case records, ensuring systems and files are kept up to date and information is recorded promptly

What are some things that we need from you?
- Experience of working in the social housing sector, particularly with a background of dealing with tenancy management, ASB and safeguarding
- Proactive approach, organised and able to prioritise time to meet timeframes
- Experience of working with different housing management systems with an organised and methodical approach to your work
- Excellent communication skills and a customer focused approach
- A driving licence and use of your own vehicle or alternative means of getting to the required locations is essential
- Ideally based near to Solihull
- Basic DBS check required
