You will lead a dynamic team of Neighbourhood Officers who are patched based and strive to make a difference in our communities. You will be responsible for developing the team and work with your peers to ensure a consistent service delivery to our customers. Our Coventry Neighbourhoods teams manage around 19,000 customer homes within Coventry and the surrounding areas.

The Neighbourhood Team Leader role is both challenging and rewarding, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with strong housing management experience and proven people management skills. You will be responsible for the line management and development of a team of eight colleagues, while working collaboratively with four other neighbourhood teams across the Coventry area to deliver high-quality services to residents.
As the frontline point of contact for our communities, the team plays a vital role in creating safe, sustainable neighbourhoods.
This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent problem-solving abilities, sound judgement and the confidence to make decisions quickly. We are looking for someone who is proactive, resilient and solution-focused, with a genuine commitment to delivering positive outcomes for residents and communities.

Key Responsibilities
- Staff management of a team of officers, ensuring wellbeing, support and guidance
- Overseeing tenancy management and estate issues.
- Dealing with Anti-Social behaviour and supporting the officer in serious cases, and actively be involved in multi - agency work to resolve issues.
- Managing sensitive safeguarding matters
- Reviewing the regular block and estate inspections.
- Involvement in the management of new build properties for all tenancy management issues.
- Conducting tenancy reviews for the officer’s new tenancy visits.
Requirements
As Neighbourhood Team Leader, we need you to have:
- Proven management experience
- Current clean driving licence and access to a car
- Ability to adapt positively to change, be resilient to challenges, obstacles, and handling conflict
- Highly self-motivated, able to act with integrity and show drive and enthusiasm
- CIH Level 4 - or willing to work towards
