Job Introduction

We have an excellent job opportunity available within our Bradford Council Neighbourhood team, and we are currently seeking a practical and enthusiastic person with a passion for creating positive change in Bradford’s neighbourhoods.

You don’t need any prior experience as we’ll provide you with on-the-job training and opportunities to learn and develop your skills even further.

As part of your role, you’ll get to know the community and build strong relationships with residents and community groups. This personal touch will enable you to understand the unique needs of individuals and families. You’ll be working alongside our Neighbourhood Connect Project which involves carrying out visits, providing support and linking people to local services.

One day you will be supporting residents to organise a fun day, the next day you could be working alongside Youth Services to run a food bank, or you could be delivering educational work to help reduce air pollution, particularly around schools.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Another key part of this role is helping to encourage positive behaviour change and inspiring residents to take pride in their local area. You’ll support and motivate communities to get involved in local clean-up activities, promote environmental awareness, and help foster a sense of ownership and responsibility for shared spaces. Whether it’s helping to organise a litter pick, supporting a school eco-project, or simply having conversations that spark change, your work will make a real difference.

So, if you have a passion for community development, a desire to make a difference, and want a chance to grow both personally and professionally, we want to hear from you!

We would also like to hear from people fluent in Eastern European or Asian languages.

A disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be sought for appointees to this post.
