Please be aware this vacancy is 23 hours, 2 days a week, night shift only

Pay - £13.87ph

Based at our South Elmsall Warehouse, the Employee support team offers an exciting opportunity for individuals to play a key role in the engagement and HR support/administration of our existing employees and new starters on Site.

You will cover our dedicated information desk acting as a key point of contact to understand and resolve general queries from all new starters, both Warehouse Operatives and Team Managers, to support the wider management team in understanding and addressing root causes of issues.

About the Role:

You will be required to;

  • Deal with and log all queries by managers so trends can be identified and reviewed by the senior management team for review and action.
  • Support with action points from the Employee Opinion Survey together with reviewing and cascading feedback from all feedback mechanisms to senior managers.
  • Act as a point of contact for Warehouse Operative queries including but not limited to; pay queries, portal access, flex bookings, uniform ordering, holiday bookings, Yapster log ons and absence line cover.
  • Support with the care of new starters covering all aspects of their basic needs from allocating their swipe card, booking flex, booking pre-booked holidays, supporting them with the policy requirements of next and supporting a 4 week support period.
  • Any other duties appropriate to this role to support the management team.

Skills required:

  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to produce reports and spreadsheets
  • Experience of working within a unionised environment (desirable)
  • Experience of working with a diverse range of new starters and existing employees nurturing their needs but also be competent of removing the emotion when decision making, developing them to be a high performing team member
